More than 500 new students arrive as fall semester kicks off

The Evangel University campus sprung back to life today as more than 500 new students arrived when the residence halls opened at 8 a.m., and EU Launch officially began. The group of new students includes freshmen, transfer students and transitioning students from Central Bible College, which consolidated with Evangel earlier this year. The students come from 45 states and numerous foreign countries, including Bolivia, Spain, Hungary, Congo, Kenya, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, China, Sri Lanka, Mexico and Canada. The residence halls open to returning students on Saturday, August 24, and classes will begin on Wednesday, August 28.
