AGTS to host Summer Institute for Islamic Studies

The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary Center for Islamic Studies will host the Summer Institute for Islamic Studies from June 29 to July 10, 2015.

AGTS collaborates with Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim Peoples, a specialized ministry of Assemblies of God World Missions, to offer this cutting-edge program.

Engaging Islam Dr. Mark Hausfeld
Director of Center for Islamic Studies at AGTS. International director of Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim Peoples. Has 29 years of pastoral and missions experience in Chicago, Pakistan and Central Asia.
Church Planting in the Muslim Context Dick Brogden
Has served among Muslims for the last 20 years; Mauritania (1992), Kenya (1993-1995), and Sudan (1996-2011). Leads a multi-national church planting team in Cairo, Egypt that trains team leaders to plant churches across the Arab Muslim world.
Folk Islam and Power Encounter Dr. Don McCurry
Ministered for 18 years in Pakistan. Taught at Fuller Theological Seminary. Founded Samuel Zwemer Institute of Muslim Studies. Has authored five books on ministry to Muslims.
Christian-Muslim Theological Issues Dr. Jim Bennett
Former pastor of the Evangelistic Center and director of Jordan Theological College. Since 2009, has been director of ministries for Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim Peoples.
