Disability Services
Evangel University is committed to the provision of reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. Our priority is to partner with students to help them be successful in the college environment. If students, or potential students, are eligible for services, it is incumbent upon them to complete their responsibilities, read the Disability Handbook, and contact the Academic Support Center.
Students: Are you earning poor grades on tests and papers but realize that you know more than your scores report? See the Coordinator of Disability Services in the Academic Support Center to discuss options for potential testing to identify learning disabilities or more.
Professors: Does a student seem to know more information in the classroom setting than his or her test scores report? If so, encourage students to speak with the Coordinator of Disability Services in the Academic Support Center to discuss their frustrations. Do not suggest that a student has a learning disability unless the student discloses that information to you.
