Freshman Seminar

Kick off your college career the right way — connect with your advisor from the very beginning. We want to help you adjust to college life in a proven, effective manner. Each academic department offers a one-credit elective course titled Freshman Seminar. Major areas covered include the following.

This course will link you with an advisor from your discipline. For example, if you are an accounting major, you will be advised to enroll in ACCT 100 Freshman Seminar for accounting majors.

However, even if you are not sure what your major is going to be, there is a General Studies Freshman Seminar for you: GNST 100.
