Evangel University Behavioral Sciences

Welcome to Behavioral Sciences

Donna Washburn

The Department of Behavioral Sciences offers programs in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Social Work.

The Behavioral Sciences offer rich opportunities to its student through coursework, interaction with faculty and students, and the challenge to integrate faith concepts. We also prepare our students for employment and continuing education in graduate school. Students have opportunities to conduct and present research projects and develop professional skills by serving as volunteers and interns in our community.

The programs of our department find commonality under the banner of the “helping professions.” We are serious about following Jesus in serving others. Our graduates serve in schools, clinics, government offices, hospitals, churches and para-church organizations.

In addition to our three undergraduate majors, we also provide education for working adult students who desire a degree in Human Services. Graduate students will have opportunity to apply to our programs in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. We invite you to look around and explore the opportunities available.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me or one of our program directors if we can be of any assistance to you.
