one another. Topics include attitude formation, persuasion, group
behavior, aggression and helping.
Race, Ethnicity & Gender - examines relationships
between minority and majority groups in the U.S. and how that impacts
our society. The origins of prejudice and discrimination are
studied and solutions to the problems are explored.
Criminal Justice looks at the development and structure
of the American criminal justice system, including the nature of law,
aspects of criminal law and procedure, the process of justice, the
courts, and law enforcement.
Human Behavior in the Social Environment - is a
series of two courses where students learn about major influencers
of human behavior - the person, the environment, and time.
We examine the impact of society, organizations, groups, and families
on human behavior.
