Communication Studies

The Communication Studies Major is designed to meet the need of those students who are interested in communication but who want a more generalized degree. This degree is particularly applicable to students desiring to go on to graduate work in a related field such as public relations, advertising, or law.

Comprehensive Option

Students can become a comprehensive communication major by combining an available major with a minor from the Communication Department.

A comprehensive option is available with the Communication Studies major. Students choose from one of the eight eligible minors in the Department of Communication.

Minor

A Communication Studies minor is only an option for non-Communication majors.
