College Music Educators National Conference

Evangel music faculty and their students have long been active in the College Music Educators National Conference (CMENC), an affiliate of the Music Educators National Conference (MENC). Its members are engaged in music teaching or other music education activities, pre-school through university. There are more than 600 campus chapters of CMENC across America. Evangel University music majors and music minors have been encouraged (though not required) to join. Inexpensive annual student membership dues ($8.00 in 2007) includes the cost of a subscription to the respected Music Educators Journal and local chapter fees.
