Evangel University Band

The University Band is an 80 piece ensemble open to all Evangel University students. The University Band serves an important role for the university in that it provides the student body with the opportunity to continue their participation in a musical ensemble regardless of their major.

The University Band meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m., and presents two concerts on campus each semester. Students enrolled in University Band may receive .5 hours of academic credit by registering for MORG 111.

The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Michael Kolstad, chairman of the Evangel University Music Department.
