MOAHPERD 2006 Convention

Springfield, Mo. — Four faculty members and seven physical education and recreation majors attended the Missouri Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Convention at the Lodge of the Four Seasons in Lake of Ozarks on November 11, 2006.

This convention offers many seminar and workshop opportunities for students to acquire information relating to the fields of physical education and recreation. It also allows for dialogue with presenters, other professionals and with each other about current methods, trends, and issues related to the health, physical education, and recreation majors. Expenses for the trip were curtailed by a grant from LifeWorks, a campus-wide initiative to enhance and extend Evangel University’s commitment to the integration of faith, learning and living.
