Majors

• The Biblical Studies major is designed for those preparing for graduate school or seminary. It offers in-depth studies of biblical books, theology, religion, Greek or Hebrew and philosophy. This major satisfies the educational requirements for ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God.
• The flexible Interdisciplinary Missions Studies major serves to prepare those in various careers (such as educators, business persons, diplomats, social workers) and professional missionaries for careers in cross-cultural ministry settings. It allows students to design unique programs to fulfill God’s call on their lives.
• The Biblical Languages major is tailored for those preparing for graduate school, seminary, or further language study leading to biblical translating. It emphasizes Hebrew and Greek over theological topics and study in the English text of the Bible.

Evangel is also affiliated with the Jerusalem University-College, which offers a program of specialized training in the geography, history, and archaeology of the Holy Land.
