Outstanding Young Alumnus

The Alumni Board recognizes that many young alumni have enjoyed significant achievements in the few years since their graduation, although they may not yet have reached the height of their accomplishments. The purpose of this award is to recognize such young people.

Eligibility for the Award

• This award shall be limited to alumni of Evangel University.
• The ability to attend Homecoming in the year in which the award is to be given is a prerequisite for receiving the award.
• Nominees shall have made significant contributions to their chosen field, church, community, state, nation, or to Evangel University.
• Nominees must submit a completed nomination form and a letter of endorsement from their pastor or other clergy member.
• Nominees must show current and continued interest in Evangel University.
• No member of the Evangel University Alumni Association Board of Directors (Alumni Board) shall be eligible for the Outstanding Young Alumni Award so long as he or she remains a member of the Alumni Board.
• Recipients of the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award must not have reached their 36^th birthday before the date on which the Award is presented.
• Any recipient of the Outstanding young Alumnus Award remains eligible to receive the Distinguished Alumnus Award in future years.
