Coming to Evangel was not a difficult decision. Kyle’s father met his mother at Evangel and served on the Evangel Board of Directors for several years. He remembers driving to Springfield for Homecoming every year and hanging out with children of other Evangel alumni, attending the Friday night 4 Him concerts, and attending the football games. It already felt like home!

The big bonus was meeting his wife! Kimberly packed up her things to make the long journey away from her family in Montana to attend Evangel. During her sophomore year, she heard about a group of Evangel students that were volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club so she and some of her friends decided to attend. It was through this weekly volunteering that Kyle and Kimberly became best friends!

Upon graduating, Kyle took a newly formed position with the Assemblies of God Financial Services Group. After serving as a Retirement Planning Specialist for three years, he was promoted to sales manager and then a year later promoted to Senior VP of Retirement Services. Kyle now oversees all the sales and marketing for the Assemblies of God $1 billion 403(b) retirement/savings plan.

After they were married, Kimberly took a job with Honorbound Men’s Ministries. It was only a few months later that she was promoted to Conference Coordinator and then most recently to Special Projects Coordinator. Her responsibilities include planning national events/conferences, maintaining relationships with district leadership, and other various administrative duties.

Kyle was recently elected to the Alumni Board of Directors. He and Kimberly currently reside in Battlefield, MO and are members of James River Assembly.
