Future Cheerleaders

The Evangel Cheer Team is always looking for individuals willing to fill the roll as spirit squad members. Individuals wanting to participate in the cheer program must have a positive attitude, be willing to work hard, and finally have a strong relationship with Christ. Tryouts are held during Crusader Days which occur during March. Anyone who wants to tryout is encouraged to do so. If you have never cheered before it is not a problem. Skills that will be looked for at tryouts will be: Standing and Running Tumbling, Co-Ed and All-Girl Stunting experience, and Motion Technique. Prior cheer experience and tumbling are a bonus. Scholarship opportunities will be available based on the skills you can offer the team.
