Football to host annual spring game Thursday

Springfield, MO — The Evangel University football team will conclude their Spring drills with their annual Spring Game Thursday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. at Harrison Stadium on the Central High School and Drury University campus.
It will be an offense against the defense game with points awarded for key plays such as tackles for loss, first downs or scoring plays.
The Crusaders started Spring practice the week of March 9 and Thursday’s scrimmage will be their final workout in full pads until pre-season practices begin in August.
Harrison Stadium is the home to Central High School football and Drury University soccer and is two miles from Evangel’s campus on Central Street in Springfield.
