Softball
Since Head Coach Jerry Breaux took over the program in 1994, the Evangel softball team has:
- won ten Heart of America Athletic Conference championships (HAAC), winning six of those titles in a row
- registered 14 seasons with 20 or more wins
- Nationally ranked every year
- had eight campaigns with 30 or more victories (2005 squad won a school record 44 games)
- had eleven all-America selections
- eleven All-Americans
- had 81 athletes win all-conference laurels
Coach Breaux:
- won six conference coach-of-the-year honors
- won NAIA Midwest Region Coach of the year in 1997
- won 754 games in his career, placing him in the NFCA's Easton Victory Club for those with 700-plus career wins
- has a 526-329-2 record at Evangel
- Reached 500 wins as Evangel softball coach on March 4, 2011 with 6-3 victory over Bellevue University
