Softball
Since Head Coach Jerry Breaux took over the program in 1994, the Evangel softball team has:
- won nine Heart of America Athletic Conference championships (HAAC), winning five of those titles in a row
- registered 13 seasons with 20 or more wins
- Nationally ranked every year
- had six campaigns with 30 or more victories (2005 squad won a school record 44 games)
- had five all-America selections
- eight All-Americans
- had 76 athletes win all-conference laurels
Coach Breaux:
- won five conference coach-of-the-year honors
- won 688 games in his career, placing him in the NFCA's Easton Victory Club for those with 600-plus career wins
- has a 428-257 record at Evangel
