Baseball's Season Opening Series Postponed
Springfield, Mo. – The Evangel University baseball team’s season opening series at Williams Baptist (Ark.) has been postponed by rain. Both Friday’s and Saturday’s doubleheader has been called off and a single doubleheader has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 13 at Williams Baptist.

Springfield, Mo. – The Evangel University softball season opener scheduled today at Henderson State (Ark.) has been cancelled. The Crusaders were to open the 2012 in a doubleheader today.
Men's Basketball Wins 74-64 Over Cental Methodist
Springfield, Mo. — Evangel guard Jayme Donnelly led four Evangel players in double-figures with 16 points and Stephen Cotten had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds as Evangel picked up a 74-64 win at home over Central Methodist Thursday night.
Women's Basketball Outpaced by Central Methodist 73-63
Springfield, Mo. — Central Methodist earned their fourth straight win and handed Evangel their fourth straight loss in a 73-63 win at the Ashcroft Center Thursday.
EU Football Announces 16 Signing Day Commitments For 2012
Springfield, Mo. – Evangel University football has announced their first high school recruits for the 2012 season. Each of the players will enter Evangel as freshmen next fall.
Evangel is part of the Heart of America Athletic Conference and has intercollegiate sports teams for men in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, cross-country and golf (there is also club-level soccer for men). Women have volleyball, basketball, softball, track and field, cross-country and tennis. Crusader athletes are also actively involved in outreach through our Athletic Ministries program.
