Welcome to Evangel University! Those of us in the Student Activities Office are excited that you will be joining us. The following schedule provides information about first week activities that will be important to you. We look forward to seeing you at the Academic Orientation Meeting.
3 p.m. Residence Halls open for move-in.
7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. **** GOT QUESTIONS??? ****
An information booth located in the Student Union near the dining hall entrance will be staffed to answer questions or provide directions for you.
9 a.m. Academic Orientation Meeting (Zimmerman Hall Rm.105)
New Students will be dismissed to Academic Advising (Course Selection) in their respective Academic Departments. Financial Registration will follow Academic Advising and take place in the Chapel Foyer according to scheduled appointment time.
12 – 1 p.m. President’s Luncheon with New Students and Parents (RSVP Required) Crusader Dining Hall Room CH115 A
8:45 – 10:30 p.m. New Student Bowling Night @ Light House Lanes
9 a.m. Financial Registration (Chapel Foyer) continues with scheduled appointment
7 p.m. New Student Coffee & Conversations @ Hot Shots (Joust)
8 a.m. Classes begin
7 – 9 p.m. Activities Board Welcome Back Event
Breakfast: 8-9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Dinner: 5-6:30 p.m.
New Students can eat in the cafeteria without an ID card on Monday and Tuesday. Hot Shots, Evangel’s coffee bar located in the Joust, will be open 7 a.m.-11 .pm. all week.
