A total of 124 semester credit hours are required for the Degree Completion Program. The credits are divided into three components:

General Education: Outside the core program, the program has a general education requirement of 21 credits from the following disciplines:

These credits may be a part of the 64 credits of prior college work or the 22 credits of demonstrated learning.

Demonstrated Learning: The policies and procedures for the awarding of credit for demonstrated learning through life experiences are detailed in a separate booklet available through the Degree Completion office or online as a Word document.

Credit Options: Students without sufficient credits from prior college work or from demonstrated learning may enroll at an accredited institution in traditional, correspondence, or on-line courses either simultaneously with or after completing the core program as approved by the Director. Please note that the Degree Completion program offers an AA program in which you can easily and conveniently complete these requisite credits. In some cases these deficiencies should be made up prior to the beginning of the core program.
