Wow. What a semester this has been so far! So much has happened since it started. We started having monthly 24 hour prayer meetings. God is starting to move in incredible ways on our campus. A few weeks ago I went on a retreat with the church I go to. It was an awesome time. This is a picture of an intense game of mad gab. It was a great chance to get to know more people. Also, my impact team is going to Florida in two weeks! I’m so excited to see what God is going to do while we are there. This semester is flying by! I can’t believe spring break is only two weeks away. School has been so awesome and I can’t wait to see what else happens.

Hey it’s Josh again. This semester has gone by so fast. It seems like last week I was moving into my dorm. So many awesome things have happened this semester. First of all, the traveling ministry team I’m on went to Kansas City. It was an incredible trip! As you see in the picture we got to minister to the homeless, which was an awesome experience. The whole trip was full of excitement. The first day we handed out tracts to people and got to pray with them for whatever they needed. It was incredible. That night we got to meet some kids from the youth group at the church we were staying at. They were great. The next day we went to give out clothes and things like shampoo and soap to the homeless. It was so inspiring to see the look of gratefulness in their eyes as we handed out the items. Also, we got to spend time talking to them and some of their stories are just crazy. They came from all different backgrounds. That night we taught the youth from the church a human video that they did the next day in front of the whole congregation. On Sunday, we went to church and got to lead worship which was awesome. Not only did we minister on this trip, but we also had fun. On Sunday night we went to a place called the plaza which was so much fun. This picture shows just how much fun we were having. On Monday, we cleaned out a storage room, repainted it, and restocked the shelves. We left for home on Tuesday morning. This was one of the greatest trips I’ve ever been on. We had some of the most powerful experiences I have ever felt. Besides our time of ministry, our prayer times were just incredible. I still can’t believe that the semester is almost over. I’ve had so much fun already. I can’t wait for Christmas break, but I also can’t wait to start the spring semester along with my new classes. This semester has been awesome.

Hey there, my name is Josh. I’m a freshman at Evangel University and I absolutely LOVE IT! This place is incredible. Already I have met so many awesome people. I love the floor I live on too. The guys are awesome. I still remember the second night I was here and I didn’t really know them yet. They came to my room and invited my roommate and I over to another guys room. It was so cool to just hang with the guys. I’ve already grown to love this place so much. At first, I didn’t want to go to Evangel but God’s plan was for me to be here and now I know why. His word says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you…” I’ve already seen His plan at work in many ways; even in the people I meet.
There are so many ways to get involved as well .So if you’re worried about being bored, FORGET IT!!! I have my first intramural football game tonight and I can’t wait. Also, ministry opportunities are everywhere. When I left I was praying that God would open up a way for me to get involved in ministry. Within less than a month I found my spot. I’m now on a traveling ministry team! I couldn’t believe how quickly God opened a door. I can’t tell you how much I already love this place.
