Activities

Missionary kids, military kids and international students from all over the world will have a chance to connect with each other at Evangel! To help get you involved we offer the following activities specifically for students who have grown up overseas:

Computing

Each residence hall has one computer lab open 24 hours.

Curfew

The Student Handbook will provide details concerning standards related to curfew. Freshmen and sophomores must obey curfew. Juniors, seniors and students 21 years of age and older are exempt from curfew. In general, curfew is as follows:

12 a.m. Sunday - Thursday
1 a.m. on Saturday (Sunday morning)
2 a.m. on Friday (Saturday morning)

Dress code

Evangel has set a standard for dress. Please read Student Standards in the Student Handbook for additional information.

Email

Email is the principal means of communication between faculty, staff, administration and students. Students are required to set up an Evangel email account and must check it daily as they will be held accountable for all official communication of administrative policies, faculty instructions and campus information including assignments, registration materials, announcements, etc.

Employment for International Students

International students have the opportunity to work 20 hours per week on campus. Here are some examples of campus employment opportunities:

Wellness Center

Free health care and counseling services are offered on campus through the Wellness Center. For more information you can contact Health Services at 1-800-EVANGEL (382-6435) extension 7280 or Counseling Services at extension 7222.
