International Students
Provide the following:
Traditional student requirements:
- Application and Application Fee
- High School Transcript
- ACT or SAT scores (for first-time university students and Education majors). If English is not considered the first language, a minimum TOEFL score of 490 for paper based or 163 for computer based is required.
- Pastoral Reference (pdf) From a non-relative pastor that you know best
- Academic Reference (pdf) If you are in high school or first year of college
- Employer's Reference (pdf) If you have been out of high school more than 1 year and are not currently in college.
Transfer student requirements:
- Application and Application Fee
- Official academic transcripts from each college attended. For transfer students with 24 or more hours from an accredited college, another high school transcript will not be required for admissions.
- Transfer Clearance Form (pdf) From each college attended
- Pastoral Reference (pdf) From a non-relative pastor that you know best
- Academic Reference (pdf) If you are in high school or first year of college
- Employer's Reference (pdf) If you have been out of high school more than 1 year and are not currently in college.
- Evangel University is authorized under Federal Law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students that meet the requirements.
In order for the I-20 US immigration forms to be released, the student must:
- Meet the admissions requirements
- Pay a US $21,000.00 deposit for academic school year (includes tuition, room, board, fees)
- Ideally, International students are encouraged to apply to EU one year before the start of the semester and no later than June 1st for the fall semester.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Evangel University does not have specific scholarships for international students. However, international students are encouraged to make application in many of our scholarship categories.
