ACT score is based on English, Math, Reading and Science only. SAT is based on Critical Reading and Math only. The essay portion of either test does not factor into the scholarship calculation. Transfer students who have not completed two consecutive full-time semesters or quarters must use the same formula as a first-time freshman and must submit an official high school transcript. |

The Evangel Founders Scholarship provides full- and half-tuition scholarships to students who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to Christ and to high academic achievement.

This scholarship is available to first-time freshmen and first-time transfers who are enrolled full time. The student must have been involved in leadership in either church, school, or community. The student should have his/her pastor write a recommendation giving a brief summary of the student's leadership involvement. The church contributes up to $500 which is matched by Evangel. Eligibility requirements are as follows:

Evangel University offers a variety of endowed and private academic scholarships. While the majority of these are available to returning students, some of these scholarships are available to first-time freshmen and first-time transfers.
To apply for these scholarships, the student must have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (both high school and college) and complete Evangel's scholarship and grant application. This application, along with a copy of the high school or college transcript, must be received in the Office of Enrollment no later than January 15. The FAFSA is not required for the endowed and private scholarships.

This $1,000 renewable scholarship is available to academically qualified freshmen and transfer students who are enrolled in the traditional undergraduate program at Evangel University. Legacy scholarships are awarded to children of graduated alumni who meet the following criteria:
