We are so excited about having you here at Evangel University Graduate Studies! You may be wondering, “What do I do next?” This page will help you answer this question.
Before long you will be registering for your first semester of classes, buying your books and meeting your fellow students. Here is some information you will need before you begin your program of study.
If you are interested in applying for Scholarship/Assistantships, you may access the application online (pdf) and submit the completed form to the Graduate Studies office (Zimmerman Hall, 201D).
It is very important that you monitor your student email at all times, as this is our principal means of communicating with you.
Your user name is the first 7 characters of your last name and the last 4 digits of your Student Identification Number.
It is recommended that you change your password when logging in initially. Your new password needs to be a combination of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and shift characters.
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and click on Log Off. It is important that you remember to log off or you will not be able to log onto another computer.
The Web mail login is the only way to access your Evangel email. It cannot be accessed any other way than through the web page for security purposes. The email address for your account will be: Username@evangel.edu (e.g. spencer6980@evangel.edu). Your email account will remain active for six months after you leave Evangel.
If you are having problems with logging onto lab computers or your email, contact the help desk at 417-865-2815, ext 8368 or by email (HelpDesk@evangel.edu).
Are you applying for federal assistance/student loans to help with the costs of your graduate coursework? If so, you will need to submit a current FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov. When registering for your first semester, be sure to complete the links to apply for a new loan, including a Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling with our financial aid representative. Craig Froman (x7249).
Academic registration opens on July 17 and will close on August 27. Financial registration will open August 4 through August 27.
Please contact our Security Office at x7000 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to make arrangements for getting your student ID/Prox Card made and picking up your parking permit.
The textbook list is available online (pdf). All textbooks required for your courses will be available for purchase in our bookstore (located on the first floor of the Cantrell Student Center).
The library at Evangel University is located on the Glenstone side of campus just north of Zimmerman Hall. Please visit the library’s web site to become familiarized with this wonderful facility.
The student lounge/computer lab for Graduate & Professional Students is located in Zimmerman Hall, Room 212. This area is equipped with 3 computer stations, a sitting area with television, study area, refrigerator, microwave and coffee station.
Entry to this area is limited to the students, staff and faculty of the Graduate & Professional Studies programs. (prox card access only) You will be granted entry access to this area as of the first day of class in your first term of study here at Evangel University.
This area is available to you at anytime as needed for study/research purposes, pertaining to your program of study only. Please note guidelines posted in the student lounge (relating to cell phones, paper supply, children, etc.).
