Standardized tests for admission

The following tests are required for entrance into the graduate programs.

• Education masters require either the Praxis II or GRE.
• Psychology masters require GRE.
• Organizational Leadership requires the GRE.
• School Counseling prefers MAT, but accepts GRE.

Praxis II: Offered at MSU or Drury

Register online at www.ets.org/praxis.
MSU's testing center is 04017 and Drury is 04016.
Check with our Education Department about what specific test to take.
Evangel's code to receive the test results is 6198.
Tests range $40-100.

GRE: offered at Prometric Center in Springfield (0700)

MAT: offered at both Drury and MSU

MSU costs $65, you must pre-pay and register 3 weeks in advance. http://counselingandtesting.missouristate.edu; Phone # 836-5116
Appt times: M-F, 2 hr increments, 8-10, 10-12, 12-2, 2-4

Drury costs $50 and you must pre-pay at least 2 weeks prior.
They don't usually offer it as frequently as MSU (usually 1 month).

For most tests, you will receive preliminary results almost immediately. They will send official scores to Evangel (usually within a month). The committee will not review the file until the official results are in.
