One of the main goals of Information Technologies is to provide students with the tools necessary to excel in their career after leaving Evangel. One of the ways of achieving this goal is to offer faculty members the tools needed to give their students the opportunity to excel in the classroom environment.
One of the main problems faculty have had with software being made available for student use in the labs is that it is not compatible with our network. In order to help prevent this problem the following form has been created. All forms must be submitted 60 days prior to the start of the new semester.
After filling out the form, submit it to the Student Computing Coordinator. The Student Computing Coordinator will then make sure it meets the following criteria:
Scheduling of all the labs for classes is handled through Records and Registration. Contact them ASAP to schedule your lab. It is normally scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis. The Student Computing Coordinator works with the Office of Enrollment to make sure that software needed for your class is available in the scheduled lab. Check current availability of the computer labs.
All lab requests for special events are handled through the Conference Services. You can make the request there and fill out the appropriate proper paperwork. Please make the event request at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for the proper software to be installed. Go to EMS >>
