Book Request - Article Request
Interlibrary Loan, or ILL for short, is a library service that allows Evangel students and faculty to borrow materials and receive photocopies from resources that are not held locally. We can usually locate and borrow items (including books and periodical articles) via a worldwide computer network (OCLC) that links thousands of libraries worldwide. Contact the reference desk for more information.
This is dependent upon the lending library. However with fax service an article could conceivably arrive within a couple of days though books usually take a week. Order early and you shouldn't have a problem.
This varies; you are given two to four weeks with a book. Articles are yours to keep and therefore have no due date.
In most cases ILL is free. If the only lending library has a charge we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the cost.
Typical requests are for books, journal articles and dissertations.
