Spring Career Center Events

Evangel participates in both on and off-campus events each Spring to give students as much exposure to future choices as possible. Some of the seminars and sessions require pre-registration (as noted below). Consortium Career Expo
Thursday, February 18 from 1-5 p.m. at University Plaza Convention Center
This annual spring career fair hosts as many as 140 local, regional, national employers and graduate schools.This event is sponsored by Evangel University, Missouri State University, Drury University, College of the Ozarks, and Southwest Baptist University. It is open to all students and alumni of each university. The employers in attendance will be looking to fill full-time, part-time, and internship positions. The graduate schools will have information about various programs that they offer.
Evangel’s READY, SET, GO!
READY — Resumania, March 15-19
Resume appointments can be scheduled with the staff of Career Development on a first-come first-served basis. You will need to have all of your information ready to email prior to showing up for appointment. Call 7362 for more information.
SET — Interview Me, March 22-26
Schedule a mock interview with local HR Managers & the Career Development staff. This is a “realistic” job interview. You will need to dress with appropriate attire and be ready to answer real interview questions. Call (417) 865-2815, Ext. 7362 to reserve your spot!
GO — Career Week, March 29-April 1
- Job Search Bootcamp seminars Monday and Tuesday at 3 p.m.
(Must pre-register). - Senior Etiquette Dinner Monday night from 5-7 p.m.
(Must pre-register). - Job Fair in Student Union Wednesday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with employers here ready to hire!
Education Day
Thursday, April 1 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at University Plaza Convention Center
Education Day is for those desiring positions within the public or private school system.
