Springfield, MO. — Four Evangel University psychology students presented two studies at the 2006 International Conference of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies held in Cincinnati, Ohio. This years’ theme was “Celebration: 50 years of Integrating Christian Faith and Psychology.”
The students -- Kelly C. McLeland, Katherine L. Weaks, Patricia E. Cogswell and Renee N. Miphouvieng -- are completing Master of Science degrees in Clinical Psychology. They based their presentation titled “Celebrating Pastoral Care: Exploring the Role of Gender, Forgiveness, Participant Spirituality and Restoration Attitudes” on two studies completed during their first year.
A portion of the students’ expenses was funded by a grant from Project Envision (www.evangel.edu/projectenvision).
