Evangel professor appointed to Accreditation Review Council

Springfield, Mo. — Dr. Randy Tate, Evangel University professor of humanities, was appointed to the North Central Association’s Accreditation Review Council during its annual meeting June 6 in Chicago.

Tate will be a member of the Council, a division of the Higher Learning Commission, for four years. He explains, “I will be a part of the Commission’s decision-making processes and will serve on readers panels and on review committees.”

The review committee makes accrediting recommendations for the Board of Trustees to validate.

The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools is one of six regional institutional accrediting boards in the United States.
