Springfield, Mo. — The Evangel University Artist Series will host Kelly Isaacs in a one-woman dramatic portayal of the life of Corrie Ten Boom Thursday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m., in the Barnett Fine Arts Theatre.
There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited to attend.
This performance is a part of the Faith & the Arts Week at Evangel University, which is partially funded by a generous grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc.
When the gates of Ravensbruck Concentration Camp locked behind Corrie Ten Boom, separating her from everything and nearly everyone she loved, no one could keep her from the presence of God. His protection helped her to endure every nightmare experience she faced at the hands of the Nazis. She had hidden Jewish refugees from the Nazis, and now God would preserve her for the lifelong work He had planned for her.
Kelly Isaacs graduated from Evangel University in 1990 with a bachelor of arts in drama and speech education.
