November 1 early registration deadline for Crusader Days

Springfield, MO. — High school students from around the nation are expected to visit Springfield Nov. 16 and 17 for Evangel University’s Fall 2006 Crusader Days.

Nov. 1 is the registration deadline in order to qualify for the discounted rate of $15 per person. After Nov. 1, the fee is $20. Admission to all Crusader Days activities is included in the registration fee.

Crusader Days is an opportunity for prospective students to experience Evangel life. Visitors will interact with Evangel students, consult with faculty, tour the campus, attend classes and chapel services and stay overnight in one of the six residence halls.

Prospective students, parents and sponsors are also invited to attend informational sessions on admissions procedures and financial assistance.

Highlights of Crusader Days

• Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m., Evangel sophomore Chris Garcia will address the students in the Evangel University Chapel Auditorium
• Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m., there is a choice of attending the men’s basketball game or chorale concert
• Thursday, Nov. 18, at 9:30 p.m., there is a campuswide dodgeball tournament
• Thursday, Nov. 18, at 10:30 p.m., there is a time of food and fellowship in Crusader Dining Hall
