Springfield, MO. – The Evangel University cross country team will compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) meet on Saturday, Oct. 21. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
Head coach Lynn Bowen, who is in his eighth year at the helm of the EU cross country program, has full rosters to compete in the HAAC event. Senior Rebecca Webster-Parr leads the Lady Crusaders. She has been EU’s top finisher in all three previous meets this season. Senior Erik Hinkle is the men’s top runner. Hinkle has led all EU male runners in 2006.
Following the HAAC meet, Evangel will travel to Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, for the NAIA Region V meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.
