Evangel one of 13 Missouri colleges to benefit from $35,750 UPS Foundation donation to MCF

Springfield, MO.— Evangel University is one of 13 private liberal arts colleges in Missouri that will benefit from a $35,750 grant that the UPS Foundation of Atlanta, Ga., recently provided to the Missouri Colleges Fund.

The grant will underwrite student scholarships which will be awarded by the 13 MCF member schools, on the basis of financial need. Evangel University and Drury University in Springfield and Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar are members of the MCF.

Other Missouri Colleges Fund member schools include Avila University, Kansas City; Central Methodist University, Fayette; Culver-Stockton College, Canton; Fontbonne University, Maryville University and Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis; Park University, Parkville; Westminster College, Fulton; William Jewell College, Liberty; and William Woods University, Fulton.

The MCF was formed in 1952 as a nonprofit corporation. The MCF mission is to acquire resources to help educate students in its 13 member private liberal arts colleges and universities.
