Springfield, Mo. — Pi Gamma Mu, the Social Sciences Honor Society at Evangel University, will be holding a service to honor veterans at 8 p.m, Friday, Nov. 10, in Academic Building Room 105.
The public is invited, and there is no charge to attend.
In addition to guest speaker Raymond Hopper, administrator of the Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks, a video the students prepared as a thank you to veterans will be shown. The service will come to a close with a candlelight ceremony around the flag pole. National Guard Chaplain Shawn Moreland will close with prayer and a Scripture reading.
