Danielle Noah, a 5-foot-11 senior guard at Lutie High School in Theodosia, Missouri, has signed a letter of intent to perform on the 2007-08 Evangel women’s basketball team.
During the 2005-06 season, Noah averaged 13.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. She has scored over 1,000 points in three seasons at Lutie and has made 65 percent of her field goals and 70.1 percent of her free throws.
Noah was awarded 2005-06 all-state and all-conference honors. She was the team’s offensive MVP and the member of three all-tournament teams during the 2005-06 campaign. In addition to starring for Lutie on the basketball court, Noah earned all-conference honors as a golfer last season and has qualified for the state tournament three years in a row.
Prior to the start of the 2006-07 Lutie basketball season, Noah is a nominee for the Wendy’s Heisman All-America team.
“Danielle will add some good size to our guard play,” stated Evangel head coach Leon Neal. “Since Danielle’s father is a dairy farmer, she gets up at 4 a.m. to help on the farm and then goes to school. Because of this, she will bring a great work ethic to our team. Danielle is also is very coachable.”
Noah’s older sister, Megan, is currently a freshman forward on the College of the Ozarks’ basketball team.
