The Evangel cross country team saw its 2006 season draw to a close at the NAIA Region V Meet. No Evangel runners qualified for the NAIA national meet at the regional, which was held at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas on Nov. 4.
EU’s top female runner was senior Rebecca Webster-Parr, who won All-Region V honors. She placed 14th with a time of 20:02.61. Erik Hinkle was the men’s top finisher. Hinkle ran the men’s 8K course in 29:14.62 and finished 49th.
