Evangel professor presents seminar at American Health Care Association convention

Springfield, MO. — Bernie Dana, assistant professor of business at Evangel University, recently presented a professional development seminar in San Antonio, Texas, at the 57th annual convention and exposition for the American Health Care Association.

Dana’s 2-hour seminar, titled Quality First: Tools and Roadmap, shared with nursing and assisted-living facility leaders the philosophy and tools available to begin a journey to performance excellence.

Prior to joining the EU business department faculty five years ago, Dana was the executive vice president of Vetter Health Services based in Omaha, Neb. The company operates 32 senior care facilities in a five-state region, including the Creekside at Elfindale campus in Springfield, Mo. Dana remains active in long term care as a consultant, researcher and seminar presenter.
