Springfield, MO. — Communication students at Evangel University are producing a short film titled A Road Less Traveled. The film will be shown at 7 and 9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, in AB-105 on Evangel’s campus.
Tickets for the movie will be sold at the door for $3. The public is welcome.
Selected short documentaries produced by students of the Advanced Aesthetics and Techniques class will also be shown that evening.
A Road Less Traveled is being produced by students in Evangel’s film workshop. This is the first time the Film Workshop has been offered at Evangel as well as the first time Evangel students have shot and edited a film in high definition. The film is currently in production, but has an expected length of approximately 30 minutes.
A Road Less Traveled is the story of a young man reflecting on his life and the choices he made to get to where he is at this point in his life. Tumultuous lifestyle, relationships, education and family life combine to lead Derrick to a change in the lifestyle he has been clinging to for far too long.
