Springfield, Mo. –– The Evangel University Education Department will host The Twentieth Annual Regional Beginning Teachers Assistance Workshop on October 23, 2007, at 8 a.m. in the Zimmerman Hall (AB1) Room 105 on Evangel’s campus.
The Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals, The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals and participating Missouri colleges and universities present the workshops.

The workshop will address areas of student motivation and discipline; time management; and parent, staff and community relations. There will also be small group discussions on “What I do well,” “What I would like to do better,” “Managing my classroom” and “Sharing my best practice.”
The workshop is designed to help new teachers become more productive in their classes and help reduce their stress levels. It is also meant to reinforce the young professionals’ commitment to teaching.
