Cole to perform senior voice recital at Evangel

Springfield, Mo. — Kathryn Cole, soprano, will perform her senior voice recital at Evangel University Saturday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. in the Barnett Fine Arts Recital Hall.

There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited to attend.

Following the recital, a reception will be held in the foyer of the recital hall.

The program will include works by Donizetti, Brahms and Poulenc.

In addition, Evangel senior Whitney Thompson, mezzo soprano, and junior Christopher McLellan, baritone, will join Cole to sing “Soave sia il vento” from Mozart’s Cosi fan tutti.

The program will end with “Jesus, My Lord, My Life, My All” by Bob Burroughs, in a quartet sung by Cole, Thompson, McLellan and senior Madison Pennington.

Piano accompaniment will be provided by Doree Donaldson.

Cole is the daughter of Dwayne and Sheila Cole of Munford, Tenn. She is majoring in music education at Evangel and is a student of Jane Munson-Berg.
