Senior receives Enterprise Rent-A-Car Minority Scholarship November 6, 2007

Springfield, Mo. — Evangel senior Jordan Izumi is the recipient of a $1,000 Enterprise Rent-A-Car Minority Scholarship for the 2007-2008 school year.
Izumi, a business management major from Kaneohe, Hawaii, is a 2004 graduate of James B. Castle High School. He is the son of Wayne and Marcia Izumi.
As a student at Evangel, Izumi is active in Students in Free Enterprise, the Pre-law Society, University Chorale and intramural sports. He is also a resident assistant and a member of the chapel worship team
Enterprise Rent-A-Car is underwriting the scholarship through a generous donation made to Missouri Colleges Fund. Each of 15 MCF member schools received funds to award scholarships to outstanding students.
Evangel University is the national Assemblies of God college of arts, sciences and professions. Evangel holds accreditation with the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, the National Association of Schools of Music and the Council on Social Work Education.
Dr. Robert H. Spence is president and Dr. Glenn H. Bernet is vice president for academic affairs and dean of the University.
