Springfield, Mo. — Dr. Martin Mittelstadt, associate professor of New Testament, and Dr. Jeff Hittenberger, professor of education, coauthored a paper, which Mittelstadt will present at the annual meeting of the Greater Springfield Professors of Bible on Thursday, Feb. 7, at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo.
The paper, titled “Power and Powerlessness in Pentecostal Theology: A Review Essay on Amos Yong’s ‘Theology and Down Syndrome: Reimagining Disability in Late Modernity,’” will also be published in the spring 2008 edition of Pneuma.
Mittelstadt earned his Ph.D. from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He joined the Evangel faculty in 2000.
Hittenberger earned his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. He joined the Evangel faculty in 2006.
