Evangel leads the series 37-7 and has won the last four meetings, including this season’s 81-64 win at home on Jan. 10. At Lindenwood, EU has a slight 7-6 edge, but LU has won four of the last five games in St. Charles. EU’s only win in those games was an
81-73 decision on Feb. 24, 2006 in the semis of the HAAC tournament.

Evangel, Feb. 9

Evangel defeated Graceland in the Ashcroft Center, 93-59, on Feb. 9. Both teams had 36 rebounds, however, that was the only team stat that favored Graceland. EU led the field goal shooting (55.2 to 37.5), the 3- point shooting (56.3, 9-16 to 30.8, 4- 13), and the free throw percentage (76.9, 20-26 to 56.5, 13-23). EU also had fewer turnovers, 14-23.

Five EU players scored in double figures, led by Spud Harbour’s 18 points. Also scoring in double-digits for EU were Shane Nicholson (15), Jackson Capel (12), Tim Dial (11) and Todd Simon (11). Chad Simon led EU’s rebounding with seven.

Graceland’s Andrew Williams and Lucas Harris each scored 10 points. Aundrae Williams brought down seven boards.

Lindenwood, Feb. 11

Lindenwood traveled to William Jewell in Liberty, Missouri, on Feb. 11 and came away with an impressive 74-71 victory.

Lindenwood’s Earnie Norman registered a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Tyler Donaldson came off the bench to score 12 points and Andre Dickson had 10.

William Jewell’s Kyle Fisher led all scorers with 20 points and also had six rebounds. Jordan Jamestown scored 16 points and led the Cardinals with seven rebounds. Larry Mandacina chipped in 14 points.

The team stats were close with the exception of two categories. Lindenwood outscored William Jewell 14-4 off turnovers (WJ 10 turnovers, LU 8). Also, LU’s bench had a 30-16 advantage in scoring.
