Leon Neal Picks up 300th Win

Evangel head women’s basketball coach Leon Neal is now the owner of win number 300. Neal, who is in his 14th season as the head coach of the Lady Crusaders, is 300-159 overall. Neal has won five Heart of America Athletic Conference coach of the year awards and has guided the EU ladies to six conference titles and five of those championships were consecutive (2000-2005). In addition, Neal’s teams have made six NAIA II national tournament appearances including the Final Four round in 1995-96 and 2004-05.
