Series Record
Evangel leads the series, 37-10. The Lady Crusaders had won 10 straight vs. Missouri Valley prior to last’s year’s loss in Marshall (78-70, OT, on 2-12-07). This season, EU won at MV, 63-60, in Marshall, on Jan. 12. At home, Evangel has a 20-4 advantage and has won the last six vs. Missouri Valley in Ashcroft Center. EU’s last loss to MVC at home was the 64-58 decision in 2002. The three other home losses were on Feb. 19, 2001 (66-61), Feb. 27, 1988 (80-75) and Feb. 16, 1987 (72-64). Game Notes
- EU’s Whitney Pollard has averaged 15.2 points and 3.8 rebounds over the last five games. She has made 69.1 percent of her field goals (29-42) and 94.7 percent of her free throws (18-19).
- Neither team has been able to string together more than three consecutive wins this season. Missouri Valley has two 3-game winning streaks and Evangel has one.

Actually seven of Evangel’s 24 games have been decided by four points or less (one OT) and seven of Missouri Valley’s 25 games have had a margin of four or fewer points (one OT). MV is 4-3 in those games. EU is 3-4.
- Russell Caitlin is No. 3 on the true freshman 3-pointers made list with 38. She trails Camilla Hartzler (199-91), who holds the record with 70. Teammate Brianna Mingus, who had 52 treys as a freshman, is No. 2.
- Evangel head coach Leon Neal recorded his 300th win when the EU ladies defeated Graceland 79-52 in Ashcroft Center on Feb. 9. He is now 301-159 as a college coach.
