The Evangel Lady Crusaders were supposed to host their Early Bird Tournament this Friday and Saturday (Feb. 22-23). Due to the threat of inclement weather and the field conditions at Killian Softball Complex it has been cancelled.
Evangel head coach Jerry Breaux has announced, however, that Drury University, Rockhurst University, Southwest Baptist University and Evangel will attempt to play four games on the Evangel field on Saturday, Feb. 23 - weather permitting.
Drury and Rockhurst will face each other at 10 a.m. Evangel and Rockhurst will play at 11:45 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., Drury will meet Southwest Baptist. And the final game of the afternoon will pit Evangel against Southwest Baptist at 3:15.
