Springfield, Mo. — Evangel University will host more than 1,000 business students from 51 area high schools next week. The students will be competing in three Future Business Leaders of America district competitions: District 13 on Tuesday, March 4; District 18 on Wednesday, March 5; and District 5 on Thursday, March 6.

Registration and competitions will be held in Zimmerman Hall (AB-I), and the general sessions and awards ceremonies will be held in Crusader Dining Hall.

The first general sessions will begin at 9:15 a.m., and competitions continue until noon. The second general sessions begin at 12:45 and will include the election of district officers and an awards ceremony.

The written and oral competitions – in 30 test categories related to the professional business world – are a culmination of tests that began last week at each school’s home site.
