Students, professors and alumnus to present at Society of Biblical Literature conference

Springfield, Mo. — Two students, two professors and one alumnus from Evangel University will be presenting papers at the annual Central States Regional Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature, in St. Louis on March 30-31.

Twenty-seven colleges and universities will participate in the Central States Regional Conference, which includes Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Dr. James C. VanderKam, of Notre Dame, will be the plenary speaker.

“I am personally gratified by the representation Evangel and the Theology Department has outside the walls of the University,” said Dr. Wave Nunnally, professor of early Judaism and Christian origins.

Guiliano and Hildreth’s papers will be presented in the Theta Alpha Kappa student paper competition.
