Springfield, Mo. — Evangel sophomore Amy Bess is the recipient of a $2,850 UPS Foundation Scholarship.
Bess, daughter of Ken and Sheila Bess, Oregon, Ohio, is a marketing and management major at Evangel University. She is also a 2006 graduate of Clay High School.
UPS Foundation is underwriting the scholarship through a generous donation made to Missouri Colleges Fund. Each of the 16 MCF member schools received funds to award a $2,850 scholarship to a worthy student.
Evangel University is the national Assemblies of God college of arts, sciences and professions. Evangel holds accreditation with the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, the National Association of Schools of Music and the Council on Social Work Education.
Dr. Robert H. Spence is president and Dr. Glenn H. Bernet is vice president for academic affairs and dean of the University.
